Nothing It's a piece of crap
Everything this place is a wreck and should be closed and rebuilt I hate this hotel I will never stay here again nor will I recommend this hotel to anyone it was a dump. As soon as my friend sat on the bed not even 30 mins of being there something bit her foot 5 times. There was hair all in the bathroom floor blood stains on the bed we sat there maybe 45 mins and left paid for more money for a different hotel. The pictures that are shown online are false advertising they should condem this building seriously.
It smelled like cat piss. The bed sucked-dirty-stained floor, stained tub-stuff from other guests along with mega dust behind tv and dressers. Worst hotel we ever stayed in
Customer Service/Beach Front/Price We went through 3 rooms before we seen one room that was some what stay-able. The lady at the front desk was very freindly, she went out her way to make sure that we were comfortable as possible.
Mold around bath tub, stains on towels and wash clothes. Dirty carpet. Out dated furnisher. Rooms has a mildew smell know matter how much frebreeze we sprayed it would not go away. Much better hotels not to far away for the same price that are not listed on the website. When I first stayed here 2 years ago the place was good for the price, but you can tell that there has been no upkeeping of the property for soem time now. I reccomend that the Viking remodel or there going to loose bussiness.
othing, room service is a bunch of lazy people.front desk is rude and very unprofessional.....they look as dingy as the motel...the halls stink! pretty dirty place and so it the three sister motels, the pillows are gross had to go buy pillows
Convenience to beach access.
Room service was terrible...people friendly however, no supplies on carts, had to go to office everyday and ask for towels, cleaned our own room with disinfectant which we purchased, beds broken, took out our own trash several days. Beach access was great...short distance with children. Old facility needs a complete makeover. Would not be a choice in the future.
The proximity to the beach and the size of the room.
When making the reservation I specified an arrival of approx 3:00 am or later. We arrived just before 5:00 am after a 12-hour drive and there was no one there to let us in our room. We called the number that was left on the office door and were told that the gal was alone and could not leave the other motel to let us in. We had to wait outside until 7:30 am for someone to arrive so we could get our room. Also, I requested a 6:00 am wake-up call for our last morning and no one called until 6:50 to ask if we were awake. Terrible service!!!
The first night we stayed in room #308 that was placed back in a corner and we were fearful from the beginning because of being out of sight. The doors had no deadbolts that could be locked once you left the room. The next afternoon, our room was broken into while we were at the beach (for only an hour). The staff (Scarlett) would not give us another room, but when I made a police report (Case#12014350), I called Booked.net and they had us moved that day. The police said any rooms that did not have programmed slide cards for keys were dangerous places to stay and that we should not stay at any place like this....WE Took their advise and left!
i like that it was close to the ocean and i love the fact there was a stove and refrigerator and dishes...the room was clean and had books to tell us important information on activities we can do on our visit.
i didn't like the fact that there was no microwave because we cooked but we couldnt warm up the leftovers the next morning....the parking area was too small and we had to park across the street and load and unload our luggage....motel was a long distance from the stores on the strip so we had to walk extra miles and pay extra to park...the motel wasn't located directly ocean front as i expected...the bathrooms can have some repair work done and painting...tub wasn't very clean.....the price of the room want worth the money i don't understand how my total was $304 and i paid a total of $358...i don't understand how my booking reservation was $171.96 and when i checked in i had ti pay $186.96 when the room rate and taxes were the same each night...i would have asked for a refund but most motels hotels and resorts that were ocean front were booked and sold out.
Good location, room not fancy but ok. Nice pool just outside the door. Would probably stay there again,.
I was not told that 90% of the parking was across South Ocean Blvd. All the shelves were broken out of the refrigerator door.
Originally we reserved the room for 5 nights, the only good thing we could find in the Oceanfront Viking MOtel is, that we could leave after the 1st night. If could have gotten out the first night we would have.
The room had a big moldy spot on the ceiling, which covered about 30% of the entire room's ceiling. Cleanliness is an issue, but not because of the cleaning crew, every piece of furniture is old. We asked for a non-smoking room, we were given a smoking room which stunk. The original price was $ 91/ per night, but once we got there, extra fees came on this price, which made this room not a good deal at all.
No front desk! We had to drive to another hotel to check in! Dirty Old Not for its value
Well I was sent to the polinesian. My room smelled like cig. Smoke and it stunk.
The view was nice looking over the ocean. The space in the room was wonderful.
I had to wait for towels and other rooms to be clean before I could get a shower. I had to wait for about four hours. The representative couldnot answer question i needed.
Nothing, worst motel experience I have ever had.
The entire vacation was worse because of the awful service at Viking Motel
the price i paid was decent, but when we arrived at the motel, they were advertising 99.00 a night stay, which would have been a much better deal!
